Our story begins in 1975 when C Day & Son Ltd was founded by Chris. In 1995 his son Paul joined the team and subsequently achieved an NVQ level 2 qualification in painting and decorating. Since then the business has gone from strength to strength; and as a result we have become one of the areas most successful painting and decorating companies. All of our team of painters and decorators are time served tradesmen who know what is expected of them and carry out work to the highest standard. As a family run business we are able to offer a personal and friendly service from start to finish. We pride ourselves on providing the same courtesy, care and attention to detail; no matter how large or small the project.

With a wealth of experience, we are rightly proud of the reputation we have built over the last 40 years.

C Day & Son completed an excellent first class job of painting the outside of the rear of our house with excellent time-keeping and clean workspace during and after the job. We wish now they had completed the job years ago we are that delighted with the transformation and therefore fully recommend their quality of work and would not hesitate to use them again by either ourselves or our family. We selected them randomly and could not be more delighted with our choice which could not have been to a higher standard so please make a the right choice in C Day & Son

I’m really happy with the painting of my front room and bedroom with C Day & Son Ltd. They were professional, punctual, friendly. The quality of the painting is fantastic.

They took great care to protect my furniture and floors, cleaned up thoroughly afterward. They were great a telling me if they needed to do something different and made sure I was ok with every aspect of the job.

As a single female it’s always difficult to know whether you’re hiring the right people, but with C Day & Son Ltd I would highly recommend them as reliable, skilled, and courteous company, and I will be looking to hire them again in the future.

Really happy with the work carried out by C Day & Son Ltd. Had two rooms in our house repainted including walls ceilings doors and skirting. We highly recommend C. Day and Son Ltd. We had used them in the past and then booked them again recently to come and paint the outside of our house which they have just finished. Spencer and Philip have been great. They arrived promptly, worked so hard even with the weather against them they did not stop. They were polite and friendly and went the extra mile to make our house look great, we are thrilled with the end result.
At the end when finished they cleared up everywhere and left our house spotless.
So a huge thank you to them and to the company. Just need to mention that both Paul and Alison(The owners) are great too and can't do enough to help you.
We will definately be using again.

Just recently had a couple of external walls re-painted and C Day & Son have done an amazing job!! They were in a pretty bad state with paint flaking, render cracks and even some mould in areas, the walls look brand new now. Everyone I spoke to via phone and email were super friendly. Would definitely recommend and use again. Thank you

Paul did a fantastic job with our bedroom, colour matching to help us get the paint we wanted, and the whole room looks great. He even fixed our slightly dodgy door hinge! Alison was super helpful and responded extremely quickly to all our emails and queries. Overall I would thoroughly recommend them!
